An old hand saw fitted with a hardwood handle.
The saw has an etching ‘F Brittain, Sheffield’, ‘M ToFor?, Guaranteed, Cast Steel’, ‘Cross Bros, Cardiff’.
We think this saw dates to C.1880.

Condition: the blade is straight, all teeth present, the saw feels pretty sharp but presume it would benefit from a sharpen, please see photos for condition.
