Vintage Adjustable Spokeshave by Old Deane’s, London Bridge – Crafted in Boxwood

A super, old adjustable wooden spokeshave.

This old spokeshave is quite a large spokeshave, certainly in terms of old wooden spokeshaves.

This tool is marked ‘Deane’s, London Bridge’.

Quite an unusual and I believe scarce mark, I don’t recall seeing this mark before and I don’t recall seeing a mark for the iconic London Bridge on any tool before.

A customer kindly reported this dates to c.1850-71.
