An old church badge with the logo ‘Nisi Dominus Aedific Vanum’ along with a picture of a cross, a bible and a palm leaf.
We believe ”Nisi Dominus Aedific Vanum’ translates to ‘Unless the Lord has built in vain’.
The back is inscribed ‘St Blaize’. We think this is/was a church in Cornwall which was first built in the 1400’s.
We believe this badge is an old St Blaize church badge / religious badge.
We are new to badges/buttons so only have limited knowledge at present.
