An old decorative brass shoulder plane with Rosewood infill and wedge. Has a good length blade made by Ward that is also marked ‘Badger London, Cast Steel’. Face of blade is clean free of pitting. Brass body is marked with some denting with a number of dents to ends, front end is also marked with the previous woodworkers name stamp. There is also some bruising to the Rosewood wedge where previous woodworker has removed the wedge (see photo). This old plane comes with a user made box.

Sole length: 187mm
Width across mouth opening: 1.5mm – 2mm.
