Description
An old Disston Philadelphia rip saw fitted with a beautiful hardwood handle with ‘H. Disston & Sons, Philada’ medallion.
We believe this saw is an old, scarce Centennial Disston No. 76 saw which we believe dates the saw to pre-1920.
This old saw retains a faded partial Disston etching.
The teeth per inch starts at 3 1/2 and graduates to 4 1/2 at the end.
TPI: 3 1/2 – 4 1/2
Blade length: 28″
Condition: top handle spur has been repaired in its long history (common), blade is straight, all teeth present, some dull spots assume would benefit from a sharpen, please see photos for condition.
