Description
A rare profiled moulding plane that we believe is marked I.Sym (previous user has over stamped manufacturer name).
English circa 1750s – 1790s
Blade width: 52mm (2” approx)
Plane width: 64mm (2 ½”)
Condition: Good condition especially for its age, has a good length cutter with clean blade face. Ends are marked with a number of name stamps. Sole is marked with 4 screw holes. Has a couple of old treated worm holes. See photographs for condition.
