FA-2317 Wrap
When trucks run in clean highway conditions, a filter can go a long time without trouble.
When they run dirt, gravel, ag fields, construction zones, or oilfield roads, the filter loads fast — and restriction creeps up before anyone notices.
That’s why pre-filter wraps exist.
These FA-2312 replacement wraps are designed to take the first hit. They capture larger dirt and debris before it ever reaches the main filter media. By doing that, they slow restriction buildup, extend primary filter service life, and keep airflow more consistent under load.
This is not a standalone filter. These wraps are made to be installed over an FA-2312 filter that was originally configured for wrap use. When the wrap gets dirty, you remove it, clean or replace it, and keep running — without pulling the main filter early.
In real-world fleet operation, that means fewer filter pull-downs, more predictable maintenance, and less downtime caused by surprise restriction issues.
If you’re running clean pavement, wraps aren’t necessary.
If you’re running dust every day, they matter.

In April of 2013 we changed the diameter of the filters to gain air volume in the housing/cans. We also made it possible for the new generation of Fleet Air Filters to have 3 layers per filter that would remove, revealing the structure our filter.
