A superb rosewood handled No. 4 ½ smoothing plane made in USA by Stanley.
Rare to find this particular plane in such good original condition, retains Stanley trade décor to rear handle.
Comes with original Stanley box that has a bit of wear but still good for its age. The box is marked ‘Stanley Rule & Level Co New Britain Conn USA Stanley Tools 4 ½, Bailey, one iron smooth plane, 10 In long, 2 3/8 in cutter’.
Condition: all parts working smoothly, poor condition box, please see photos for condition.
