Description
A substantial old nibbed Buck rip saw fitted with a hardwood handle, what a beautiful old saw. This saw is extra special as the wooden totes / spurs remain in tact as original which often these elongated totes / spurs are broken off or repaired. This is also the largest rip saw I believe we have had in 25+ years of trading.
The blade etching on this old saw is marked ‘Buck, Tot Court Rd’.
We believe this old saw is around 150 years old dating to C.1870.
TPI: 4
Blade length: 30″
Condition: the blade is straight, all teeth present, the saw feels sharp but presume it would benefit from a sharpen, please see photos for condition.
