Description
An old, antique, Victorian Sorby hand saw fitted with a hardwood handle.
The blade is marked ‘I&H Sorby, Sheffield, Cast Steel’.
The medallion is marked ‘I H Sorby, Sheffield, I H S’ along with a crown emblem.
This is a very rare saw, even rarer in this condition. This saw dates to at least 1880, we believe it is earlier.
This scarce saw is from a life long collector, a real tangible piece of history, even harder to find in this condition.
