A nice old Stanley smoother plane no. 4 1/2.

This old Stanley 4 1/2 plane is fitted with Rosewood handles and a Sweetheart ‘Stanley, SW, New Britain, Conn, USA’ cutter.

The plane carries the following patent dates behind the frog: ‘MAR-25-02, AUG-19-02, APR-19-10’.

Condition: all parts move freely, the top of the handle has had an old repair, the lever cap has a chip, please see photos for condition.
